Korean Terms to learn for promotion to Yellow Belt (8th Kup)
It is important to incorporate the Korean terms from your last grading with the following terms:
Nopunde - High – from shoulder level and above
Kaunde - Middle – from shoulder level to the umbilicus
Najunde - Low from waist level and below
Ap kumchi - Ball of foot (Turning kick)
Niunja sogi - L stance
Dollyo chagi - Turning kick
Chookyo makgi - Rising block
Baro makgi - Obverse block, blocking over primary leg
Bandae makgi - Reverse block, blocking opposite the primary leg
Baro jirugi - Obverse punch, punching over primary leg
Bandae jirugi - Reverse punch, punching opposite the primary leg
CHON-JI TUL is the first of the twenty-four Taekwon-Do Patterns and forms part of the grading

Bakat palmok najunde makgi - Outer forearm low section block
